DAYTIME – CAFTANO
The Capri woman stands out for her sophistication and good taste in dressing up with decisive but light colors and accessories that give the look sparkling character. For your “outfit of the day” typical caftans are the perfect choice. From the early sixties with its ethnic back-round, caftans were worn by the early hippie trendsetters. We believe that the most appropriate footwear is the typical sandal of Capri. The sandal is made of layers of leather soles sewn together on which calf skin is applied. The leather will then be enrichened by jewelry and various accessories, all strictly made in Italy. There are so many who wrote the story of Capri sandals. Among the many, the most emblematic are those of Canfora. It is not casual that names like Jackie Kennedy and Brigitte Bardot wore their sandals. BEACHWEAR
As for swimwear, colorful prints are really a must-have, not just for Capri, but for all of summer 2017. Of course, even white colors cannot miss you in your wardrobe for two more than good reasons:
- It is enchanting with tanned skin, giving a nice contrast to the eyes (and to the selfies you will do with hashtag #summer2k17);
- It is the color that best matches the light shades of Capri.
The whole costume with openings on the sides, for example, of Ermanno Scervino has a jagged fit with macrame lace inserts, ending with two hip laces on the sides (270 EUR); Obviously the two pieces is also a great choice.

PANTALONE ALLA CAPRESE
For the evening: the caprese trousers are adherent and end half of the calf. They were worn by Brigitte Bardot and they are also called highwater. In theory their mid-calf cut should slim the figure, in fact it is perfect for slimmer women, low waist with adhering cut. It is not perfect for those who have wide hips and strong calf; But a pair of heel is enough to slim these aspects. The shoe par excellence to match is a very low sole like ballerinas, espadrillas and sandals.
Our favorite trousers are those of Dolce & Gabbana mambo printing but you can find them anywhere, as long as you choose the colors white and blue, typical of the island of Capri.
To match the mambo print trousers, the red striped cotton t-shirt with jewel embroidery will give a touch of elegance to the outfit. Obviously, everything we have proposed is up to you. You might want to change brands for something a bit more affordable. Although, there isn’t much that is not expensive in Capri. It’s very exclusive. But isn’t that what makes it special?
