All you have to do is take a look at the menu to grasp the authenticity of what they offer, as traditional as you can get. Crispano, a small village that proudly preserved the tradition of the Apulian Fornello and here you will enjoy eating meat. At the entrance of this restaurant, there should be a sign stating “Excellent raw fish”. Here we are talking about high levels of cuisine and very, very low prices. You will savor raws of the Apulian sea and you will be more than satisfied. All their fish comes from the fish market located right next to the restaurant. Less than 30 euro each. This restaurant is in the center of Lucera, about 20 km away from Foggia but it is totally worth the journey. You have to try the Irish fillet and the gnocchi of spinach with ragù of podolica. .

Small and welcoming location that, as the name states, lives on the philosophy of 0 km with superbly fresh products and vegetarian/vegan suggestions. The atmosphere is among the most cordial, very easy but never lacking professionalism. Typical Foggian cuisine, from starter to dessert, everything is traditional and local. The restaurant really gives you the opportunity to learn about the tradition of the city and the service is always available to talk you through each dish and all the fresh ingredients. 2.LA UASCEZZE
For those who do not know, the name of this restaurant translated from Barese means “revelry” to underline the conviviality of this location. At the entrance, they should really hang a sign stating “Welcome to Bari”. Yes, because this is REALLY proper Barese food. Rice, potatoes and mussels, ricotta “squant”, hams and burrate. You will dine so divinely that you won’t believe your palate and then your eyes, as soon as you see the bill.
1.PLAYA DEL SOL
SCANDALOUS. There might not be another word to describe the restaurant of Giovanni at Molfetta. With less than 35 euro, you will eat so much raws ( sea urchins, scampi, red shrimp of Gallipoli, white shrimp of Molfetta, Oysters etc…), main with lobster, sweet wine and coffee. You will feel like if you were living a dram. At least, this is was happened to me. Seeing is believing and congratulations to the owners!
