3.OSTERIA SOPRA IL MARE
It’s small, uncomfortable and loud. Lets also add a bit dark. But this is what is great about it! Ah, the caruggi (small roads) of Genoa, ah the smell of the sea that enters these walls that have surely been an old port storage. We are in Genoa, the one that the good old De Andrè used to sing about. Infact, we imagined him there, on one of the chairs, with his guitar singing about the city. In the mean time, I was enjoying fried fish, with pesto (over the top). And my wallet wasn’t empty at the end of the meal. You can tell that there’s a strong influence of Calabria. There really should be a sign at the entrance that states “Prices at the limit of credibility”. We assure you, the fish is amazingly fresh. Owners of the restaurant, please admit you own a fishing boat, otherwise, the quality of the fish is not explainable. The location isn’t brilliant, but the food is out of this world. This restaurants really deserves first place because it is without a doubt the best of the best.
