10. THE PRIME
We are at the end of Corso Como in Piazza XXV Aprile and The Prime is the lunch break for those who want to eat well, healthy and do not want to spend more than 12 euros. Basmati rice with chicken breast, potatoes and vegetable garlic, tomato sauce with ragout top, plenty of ham, melon and mozzarella. Cured dishes that need their time to be served (nothing is pre-made). The price? Just say that you are Idressitalian visitors and with 10 euros you will eat a dish of your choice, including water and coffee.

9. RISTORANTE CARMEN 2
In Barona area, Massimo the owner will know how to make you feel in Calabria and in his Tropea exactly. The great painting of Tropea in the main room will pleasantly impress you. There is also a smoking room. The service is really excellent and homely at the same time. Meat dishes recommended. The pizza here also is an absolute must try.

8. LA FORCHETTA
This restaurant should really have a slogan like “Our strength is the price”. We are in the Giambellino area and if you want to eat fish dishes without worrying about the price column of the menu, you are in the right place. Sea crustacean with scampi, red shrimp, oysters at 17 €. Yes, here you can. Also recommended especially for lunch where with only 10 euros you will have the same quality dinner service and you will have a full menu at your disposal, drinks included. Not bad eh?

7.ESCO BISTROT MEDITERRANEO
If you want high-quality cuisine at low prices, Esco is the answer. We are in the Tortona here you will be able to enjoy some fantastic food. Our favorite dish, the amatriciana guitar spaghetti. For a first dish + water + glass of wine + coffee and sweets you will spend 16 euros. There is also a limited, but still economical, fixed menu.

5. RISTORANTE DA TRAP
We are in the Lorenteggio area, very close to Piazza Napoli. Trap is a Calabrian-style restaurant appreciated for the excellent quality of fish and pizza. However, I must admit that my favorite dish is the “Scialatielli with the Spilinga nduja”. It offers outdoor tables, which in the summer season are always fantastic.

4. SORBILLO LIEVITO MADRE AL DUOMO
We return to Duomo, where this pizzeria should hang a sign with the message “Welcome to Naples” outside the door. Here everything and I say everything is Neapolitan, even the tiles on the walls. The oven, the pizzas, the property, the waiters, the tomato, the mozzarella, the desserts. All. Moreover, although the pizza here does not cost as in the headquarters pizza parlor in another part of Milan, it is always a pleasure to eat a real pizza that costs less than 10 euros. Not only pizza, but also great main courses. My favorite is the yellow tomato spaghetti.
PIZZA AND WATER: 12 euros per person

Excellent quality of raw materials, Tuscan cuisine and a lunch menu that will literally enchant you without going bankrupt. Needless to say, often there is a bit of a queue but it’s worth it. Here with 12 € you will have a full course lunch, water and wine included; If you only want a starter or main, accompanied by water and wine the menu drops to 10 €. Try the pizzas too, it is very good!

2.GIULIO PANE E OJO
A piece of Rome has moved to Milan. What to say about this restaurant. “Ebbono, se magna da Dio”, roman for “it’s great, the food is divine”. In addition, I recommend the first ones: cacio and pepper and ravioli alla grigia, my favorites. Decoration of an “Osteria n.2” (roman song) but quality over the top.

1.ANTICA HOSTARIA DELLA LANTERNA
Here they should hang a sign that says “Welcome to Milan, finally”. Why not discover the authentic Milanese restaurants, it is not easy in Milan. First, there is a Lady, the owner, who is a wonder just to look at her and hear her speak. Meneghin dishes, smile on your lips, great lunch for as little as 10 euro each. The selection isn’t that vast at lunch but the quality is fantastic.

1. TAVERNA AMICI MIEI
This is the first adjective that comes to my mind thinking of the place where I have had lunch once every two days for 8 years. We are in the Bocconi area and here at lunch with only 10 days “you’ll eat all” of the trattoria. Yes because here, you will eat you so well, but so well you will find it hard to believe. The service is a good but the quality really over the top. In the evening the service improves considerably: they will give you the Italian tablecloth, a glass bottle of San Pellegrino, a well cut lemon to accompany the best cotoletta of Milan and above all the waiting times are reduced considerably. Absolutely among my favorite restaurants in Milan. Compliments!
