This is a family run restaurant, perfect either if you’re a young couple or with a group of friends. The location is lovely thanks to a terrace overlooking the Ponte delle Ostreghe and the hall has a wonderful atmosphere. Their menu is varied: you can choose between traditional Venetian recipes or the most famous Italian ones – all accompanied by a selection of wines. A wonderful terrace overlooking the Grand Canal, where the coloured Murano glass plays with the water reflection. The restaurant is very elegant, the personnel nice and professional, the atmosphere is irresistible. The menu focuses mainly on Venetian delicacies and everything is cooked with passion and care, starting from the careful selection of high quality, fresh ingredients. Wines are meticulously selected too among the best of the region. We loved the lamb cutlet with honey, because it’s the perfect example of a chef’s passion for his job and traditional cuisine.

One Michelin star for this elegant restaurant and its Chef Luca Veritti, whose cuisine he calls TraContemporanea and combines an elaborated preparation with a refined presentation once the food’s on the plate. Every Italian recipe is offered together with its revisited version, which is pretty innovative and creative. This contrast-non-contrast between new and traditional is reflected also in the restaurant’s look. You must absolutely try gnocchi with purple potatoes, red lobsters, asparagus and bottarga. Eating here is a fantastic experience you’ll never forget.
