Vasco Rossi released a new album: VASCO NON STOP
Italian rocker Vasco Rossi celebrates his first 4o years of career with the release of a special anthology titled Vasco non-stop. Known in his momeland simply as Vasco, the Italian artist is an ordinary man who’s led the Rock’n’Roll life. More than one generation of Italians love his songs and worship him as an artist capable of describing the trials of life through music – he’s considered the embodiment of Italian Rock’n’Roll. “UN MONDO MIGLIORE”
The anthology Vasco non-stop released in mid-November this year is the very first complete collection of Vasco’s hits. Divided into four CDs, it counts 69 historical hits plus 4 brand new songs. This collection can be considered a sort of concept album because the 40 years of musical career of the Italian artist are explored starting from his most recent LP Sono innocente (I’m innocent) and going backwards, until his very first LP ever Ma cosa vuoi che sia una canzone (What’s a song to you). Shortly before the release, Vasco non-stop has been preceded by a single, one of the four new songs composed exclusively for the occasion, titled Un mondo migliore – A better world which is an intense ballad entirely written and composed by Vasco himself. We offer you a few lines translated to give you an idea of his encouraging message, that urges us to be free after having become the change we wished for, because it’s necessary to start again even in the face of regrets:
“We have to believe a better world is possible, we cannot give up, we want to believe that we are capable of making the world a better place”.
Vasco might not be as young as he used to be, but his energy certainly hasn’t diminished and his art is more captivating than ever, probably thanks to the fact that now he truly is a mature and complete artist.
