What’s the most important thing in your life? We’re sure the vast majority of Italians would reply that the most important thing in their life is their family. Family is paramount. In other countries, young people leave the nest as soon as they come of age, but here they tend to remain home, willy nilly. Italian mothers are terribly protective, they will always be there for their children – giving life to the stereotypical Italian mama’s boy.
