4. HOW TO MOVE AROUND ROME
The best (and most exciting) way is definitely on foot. Everything is within easy reach and the glimpses that you will be able to discover will be truly unforgettable. But it is good to list all the services that the city offers in such a way that you will not miss anything.
- METRO AND BUS: Rome has only two metro lines, the A and the B, which together with the surface services means the whole city is covered. Download the “Citymapper” app and you can easily calculate the best route by entering the departure and arrival addresses. The price of the metro / bus ticket is 1.50 euros and lasts 100 minutes. There is the possibility to make daily tickets, 48h and weekly at the respective cost of 7, 12.50 and 24 euros.
- CARSHARING and MOTOSHARING: There are several companies that allow renting real cars. These are shared cars that you find in various points in the city and you can leave them where you want. The best services are Enjoy, Car2go and Sharengo. Prices range from 0.20 euro to 0.27 euro per minute with even hourly and daily rates. You do not have to make high that you download the app of one or all of these companies, register and find the car closest to you.
