2. VALLE D’AOSTE – Courmayeur
Courmayeur has two slopes: Chècrouit facing North-East and Val Veny facing North-West, which means that both places are blessed one with spectacular sunrises and the other with dramatic sunsets, earning the town the nickname “The sunny side of Mont Blanc”, the highest top of the West Alps (4810 MASL). Courmayeur is the oldest Winter sports town in Italy and it counts more than 100 ski slopes and 18 ski lifts. It’s rightfully considered the eight wonder of the world!
