How does this journey work?
Main Room: this is NOTOS’ heart, a patio that also serves as a solarium, with a putting green and the Strait of Messina right outside the windows.
Tea Room: this space is especially designed to offer you a corner of peace between one treatment and the other. Couches and chaises longues, tiny tables and the sight of Costa Viola… your tea will taste heavenly.
Vip Room: this area is very exclusive and here you’ll find a pool surrounded by Japanese tatami. At the bottom of the pool there’s a charming mosaic.
The Hammam: this was the very first hammam of the entire region. Its fine black-and-gold mosaic walls gracefully frame the bathtub and the glass table. The Hammam will purify your mind as well as your body, it’s a mysterious place where magic happens amidst the humid fog.
Calidarium: the Calidarium is a steam bath (45°-48°) with warmed benches (37°) and green lights. There’s also a Laconicum, the Roman sauna (65°) with orange lights. If you prefer yellow lights, you may want to try the Tepidarium. The penultimate option is the Frigidarium, a pool filled with cold water, designed to close your pores and toning up your muscles. Finally there’s the Ludicum, a sort of watery path with showers and lights that will celebrate your body. All these will be beneficial to your mind and soul.
Long story short, if you sorely need to take a break and rest your mind, this is definitely the place you were looking for.
