Elegant restaurant in the heart of Marina di Gioiosa Jonica, that boasts 1 Michelin star thanks to the continuous work of the chef Riccardo Sculli.
Riccardo knows how to enhance each ingredient, enhancing flavors and contrasts with targeted cooking. Everything served in his restaurant is essentially local. His great respect for raw materials gives voice and dignity to the bond with his land, Calabria.
The appetizers range from the delicate mixture of tartare to the tasty octopus. The latter is placed on a bed of smoked potatoes with rosemary and the confit dates. The peculiarity of this octopus lies in the fact that it cooks for about 15 hours at low temperature.
Among the mains, however, we mention the delicious risotto with saffron, cuttlefish ink, raw scampi and a red fruit sauce (raspberries and strawberries of Calabrian production) that gives the dish a bit ‘of acidity, also creating that right balance between softness and sweetness. It is a dish in which we surely find the perfect combination between local products and the transformation of raw materials, always respecting the rules, combined with what is of tradition.
Eating here means living a rather superb culinary experience.
