4. IL PARCO DELLA FAVORITA
This park is at Mount Pellegrino’s feet. Two boulevards cut it: Diana’s boulevard and Hercules’ one, the latter leading to a fountain with a doric column at the top of which a statue representing the Greek hero stands (but this one’s a copy, the original one can be found at the National Museum of Naples). This park is lush and elegant, its decadent atmosphere will make you feel as if you were a noble in the XIX century, one of the few with the privilege of enjoying such natural beauty and maybe steal an embrace or, even better, promise each other eternal love.
