1.UNIVERSITA’ LUIGI BOCCONI
Founded in 1902 by Ferdinando Bocconi in honor of his son Luigi, who died during the Battle of Adua. Ferdinando’s aim was to improve Italy’s economy by educating young entrepreneurs and experts. Basically this was Italy’s first university to offer an Economics Degree. Following the newest Italian laws, now this institution offers a lot of different options: first level and second level degrees, masters and pre-experience courses, but also a Law Degree course, Master Degrees and PhDs. Financial Times and QS World University Ranking often list Bocconi among the best schools (rated 19th in Europe and 25th in the world). This university is a private one, but more students enroll each year – 2016’s pupils totaled to almost 13.000. Luigi Bocconi has 170 universities partners scattered among 48 countries which means students are more often than not involved in international projects.
