3.UNIVERSITA’ CATTOLICA DEL SACRO CUORE
This is the most important private catholic university of Europe and it was founded in 1921 by Father Agostino Gemelli and other religious institutions. It’s so big and so influential, it has 5 campuses in five different cities, the most famous one being the Policlinico Gemelli Hospital in Rome. Sometimes called simply La Cattolica, it counts 12 departments and offers first and second level degrees, its students will be also able to continue their careers in various hospitals and clinics. This institution is located near Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio, inside the once monastery of said church. According to QS University Ranking 2016, La Cattolica is amongst the top 200 universities of the world when it comes to Accounting and Finance; the Anvur Survey listed it among the top 10 Italian universities when it comes to Economics.
